Bubble Gum Skies

Morning clouds open wide enough to allow the south end of Portsmouth to glow in the early morning sun. Receding storm clouds from the night before take on a bubble gum color as the sun rises from the East. Fun Fact: the clock tower seen in this photo sits atop the old south Meeting House of Portsmouth. The present day Meeting House was finished in 1866. The building was used for several purposes, including school house until 1915. Most recently, the building was home to the Portsmouth's Children's Museum (until 2008)
